Great little press conference/rally yesterday! The weather was beautiful and we managed to hand out c. $100 worth of bumper stickers from NumbersSC.com.

I hope those stickers make it to the backs of folks' cars (preferably rear windshields for high visibility). The bumper stickers were our very modest contribution to a great event put on by Pat, Roan, and the rest of our good folks who have felt the call to take the lead in this war on US citizens by the fascists in government and in business.

What clips I've seen from WISTV.com were very good. I and my sign were prominent as were several others in the crowd of over 100.

I met Tim Carnes and talked briefly with Buddy Witherspoon. I didn't get to McBride since he stayed busy at the lectern. I talked to Bob Conley--a very intelligent young man who has a lot of great ideas for the fight against illegal immigration and for unseating Lindsey Graham. We're going to need folks like him and the three candidates running against Graham in the primary on June 10, 2008 if we're going to win this war on us.

Everyone gave great speeches, raising many of the same and yet many different points each. There's a lot of woe encompassed in the issue of illegal aliens and open borders.

I regret that I didn't get a chance to talk to everyone there--I couldn't linger afterwards due to having to get back to work.

The news conference today at Columbia turned out really, really well.

Thirteen of our members were able to come. There was around 100 patriots all together, including some from Georgia and North Carolina.

As most of you already know, the "do nothing" SC 392 illegal immigration bill is still on committee.

They put off their committee meeting until tomorrow to see what the citizens of SC had to say today and tomorrow.

Corporations and their flunky, traitor Lindsey Graham, do not want to follow existing state and federal laws.

To whom do they owe their loyalty?

What country are they from?

Does security from terrorism matter to them?

Do the deaths and injuries of tens of thousands of citizens from accidents, crime, disease, and drugs due to illegal aliens mean nothing to them?

Perhaps they should move their operations to another country if they don't like us enough to be part of the community.

Think of it: the country's biggest advocate of amnesty and open borders is rudely kicked out of the U.S. Senate after betraying his state and country. What message will that send to folks everywhere?

The single action of dumping Graham will send shockwaves throughout D.C. and see positive repercussions throughout the country.

CALLS AMNESTY PROTESTERS
"IDIOTS!"

Eyewitness accounts today have verified that Lindsey Graham lost his cool during the annual Okra Strut Festival Parade in Irmo, SC this morning.

Protesters followed his car, waving signs and repeatedly shouted, "TRAITOR!" "DEPORT GRAHAM!" "GO TO MEXICO, TRAITOR!" "RESIGN,TRAITOR!" "NO AMNESTY FOR GRAHAM!" They were given a lot of attention by the crowd along the road on either side and thumbs-up signs from many of the onlookers.

When the parade was near the end of its route after turning from St. Andrews Road onto Lake Murray Boulevard, Senator Graham turned to one of the protesters and angrily shouted, "You're an idiot!" to which the protester shouted back, "You're a TRAITOR!" referring to the Senator's support for amnesty for illegal aliens.

Graham then turned to another protester, called him an idiot and yelled, "Get a job!" The protester, who is employed full time, responded, "What? One of the jobs Americans won't do?"

Eyewitnesses report that Graham was visibly shaken. Graham is apparently very sensitive to the cries of "traitor" which clearly put him on the defensive in this incident, his latest encounter with an unhappy electorate.

No one taking credit for rash of S.C. signs; latest cites 'amnesty' for illegal immigrants

Do you support amnesty for illegal immigrants? If so, don’t call the S.C. Republican Party.

Unfortunately for party officials, the phone has been ringing since anonymous signs have popped up around Columbia and other metropolitan areas.

There are two versions of the signs, which measure about 2 feet by 2 feet. One says “Amnesty for illegal workers/vote Republican.” The other has the same message about workers but instead of saying “vote Republican,” it gives a phone number that turns out to be for the state GOP headquarters in Columbia.

But the Republican Party has nothing to do with the signs, said state party chairman Katon Dawson.

Dawson said about 100 of the signs have been picked up. Since many are planted in rights-of-way, he figures the state Highway Department will remove the others.

Whoever is responsible, Dawson said, knows that signs are a cheap way to gain attention. People talk about them and media, like The State newspaper, will report about them.

“Someone is just trying to throw the question mark up, and that’s a cheap way to get (the media’s) attention,” Dawson said. “It’s a $500 way to get themselves a $20,000 article.”

By comparison, a television advertisement that runs statewide can cost up to $500,000.

And just to be clear, Dawson said, the state party’s platform specifically opposes amnesty for illegal immigrants.

So who is responsible?

Dawson said he has no idea.

Joe Werner, executive director of the S.C. Democratic Party, said he’s seen the signs but the party had nothing to do with them.

Dawson figures a presidential campaign could have put the signs up as a way to reignite the controversy over illegal immigration, which has been a major issue in the Republican presidential primary.

Some candidates have criticized a proposal that recently died in the U.S. Senate that would have allowed immigrants who are in the country illegally to eventually gain citizenship. Critics call that amnesty. Supporters of the bill, including presidential contender U.S. Sen. John McCain, R-Ariz., say it’s not amnesty.

As a guess, Dawson said he could imagine supporters of candidates such as former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney or former New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani — opponents of the Senate plan — planting the signs as digs against McCain.

Both campaigns said they had nothing to do with the signs.

“That is an outrageous statement,” said Terry Sullivan, state campaign director for Romney. “It would make no sense for us to do any such thing.”

Elliott Bundy, a spokesman for Giuliani’s campaign, also distanced his candidate from the signs.

“The only signs that our campaign is responsible for have Rudy’s name on them,” Bundy said.

It could violate federal campaign laws for a presidential campaign to post the signs anonymously.

The signs could have another possible target: U.S. Sen. Lindsey Graham, R-S.C.

Graham, a McCain supporter, was a major proponent of the failed Senate immigration bill. He has been criticized at home and in other states for that support and some groups in South Carolina have labeled him a “traitor.”

But Lee Canaday, who has passed out anti-Graham literature and stickers at Republican meetings, said he has no idea who put up the signs.

“Every U.S. citizen (save a few local Republican Party sycophants) I’ve talked to — no matter their color or ethnicity — is mad at the federal government and Lindsey Graham in particular,” Canaday said in an e-mail.

It’s not the first time anonymous signs slamming an issue or a candidate have appeared.

In April, similar signs with a similarly cryptic message about abortion showed up around the state, including Columbia. In May, similar signs about guns in schools showed up.

It was never clear who was responsible.

I love that part. It's as if he's arguing that Benedict Arnold was a successful military general in the service of the American colonies (which he was) so that anything treasonous he did later shouldn't matter.

What did Graham expect?

Well, as a member of the future "North American Imperial Senate," he expected to do whatever he pleased and to get away with fooling enough of the people most of the time.

He stepped over the line this time and he's finding out that South Carolinians do not suffer traitors in their midst.

This is WAR!

Make no mistake: Graham has declared war on the citizens (a word he pronounces as "bigots") of South Carolina. We have to wage war back. In the political sense, that means we kick him out of office and humiliate him the way we have treated other politicians when they've stabbed us in the back.

At the behest of the American and South Carolina Chambers of Commerce, the big business interests, the special interest racist groups like La Raza ("The Race") and other organizations that would destroy our country in order to gain power and money for themselves, Graham and his ilk have betrayed U.S. citizens in the most fundamental manner: they have attempted to devalue our citizenship to the point that it means little or nothing.

There is NO PATRIOTISM among these people. They think of us as (potential) slaves and barter for the services of illegals in the same manner as slave owners of 150 years ago.

Meanwhile, among this invading population, we get a disproportionate number of those who are involved in:

--traffic accidents, gang crime, drug smuggling & trafficking, rapes, molestations (all of which can kill and otherwise destroy the lives and property of U.S. citizens)

--spreading third-world diseases (such as TB, hepatitis, parasites, etc.)

--creating job competition among those citizens most needing work (and thanks to H1-B visas and other programs, competition among technically trained and college graduated citizens as well)

--spreading poverty & increasing demands for social services

--filling up our prisons

--sending our dollars out of our economy and thereby supporting corrupt governments in their home countries . . .
The list goes on and on. No matter how "good" the majority may be (besides being illegally here, making felony use of fraudulent documents, being employed illegally, avoiding taxes, ruining rental properties, etc.) they bring a disproportionately high number of social problems with them. We can't handle such an influx without losing the lives and livelihoods of too many American citizens.

The laws are on our side. They are there to protect us. The legislators and the executive branch, unfortunately, have been on the sides of the invaders. They refuse to enforce the laws that are on the books.

Maudlin displays of tears and anger by Graham and others have made a mockery of those protective laws previously passed. Despite the precedent illegally set by them in the 1980s, Congress does not have the power to "forgive" illegal aliens for their crimes. That power is reserved for the president.

The president can only grant "reprieves and pardons" which involve the grantees first being convicted. The vast majority of illegal aliens have not been convicted and, even if the president granted pardons for those who have been convicted, it is a useless gesture if they remain in a state of illegality by their very presence here continuing to violate existing laws.

Congress does have the power to create laws allowing people into this country, however, the exact wording in the U.S. Constitution is: "uniform rule of naturalization." The word "uniform" does not allow for amnesty since any amnesty is, by definition, directed at a group of people who have made themselves distinguished by, if nothing else, their having broken the law. Amnesty grants them privileges not enjoyed by other people seeking to enter this country legally as well as granting them forgiveness for crimes (and a lot of taxes), a privilege which legal citizens do not enjoy.

Amnesty for any illegal aliens is, no matter how you try to spin it, unconstitutional.

It's hard to believe that the US Senate, as a whole, seems to have temporarily regained some sense!

They have just voted down cloture (which would have ended debate and led to an up-or-down vote on the bill which required a simple majority to pass).

What this means is that the treason bill or anything like it is dead until at least 2009!

Thanks to all of you who had the courage to speak up and tell them what is what in this country, we've accomplished a major victory for common working men and women! I thank God and I thank all of you!

But as the Senate prepared to resume discussion of the bill yesterday, Bush inadvertently unleashed the slur on his own bill. Worse, he did it during a speech intended to give a final push to the measure.

"You know, I've heard all the rhetoric -- you've heard it, too -- about how this is amnesty," Bush told supporters of the bill at the Eisenhower Executive Office Building. "Amnesty means that you've got to pay a price for having been here illegally, and this bill does that . . . "

09/30/06: THE NEW SLAVERY!

Slave owners in the U.S. 140 years ago took unfair advantage of people's labor to make obscene profits. Slaves were said to do the work that others would not do. Slaves were not considered citizens.

Workers and business owners who didn't own slaves had to compete against this cheap labor and their wages and standard of living suffered because of it.

The NEW slave owners don't want to pay decent wages and benefits to their workers. They hire illegal aliens whom they can pay little and provide no benefits to. If these business owners get their way, the government will continue to allow in more foreign workers until ALL employees are working for slave wages or are unemployed.

Lindsey Graham's question of who's going to mow the lawns at his country club if not for the illegal aliens is eerily reminiscent of the question in the 1850s: "Who's going to pick the cotton on my plantation if not for the slaves?" Graham conveniently ignores the moral implications and illegality of the presence of the aliens. Thanks to the criminal negligence of the Federal government and their complicity in leaving our borders open, we're left to begin the process of ending slavery here--again!

The people in Stillmore, Georgia should count themselves lucky that the Federal and State governments have finally taken a tentative step to enforce the law of the land. Wages and working conditions will improve there.

Citizens should be protected from the crime, drugs, excessive tax burdens, diseases, and potential terrorism that result from the illegal invasion and colonization of our country. If we seal the borders and require every employer to verify that their employees are citizens, illegal aliens will voluntarily return to their homes and perhaps make their own countries better places to live and work in.

Everyone I've talked to in South Carolina is furious with Senator Graham for supporting illegal immigration and refusing to seriously enforce our borders.

We all know that 9/11 might not have happened if our immigration laws on the books then had simply been enforced and our borders sealed as they should be under the law.

We CAN deport if we have to but if we'd simply start enforcing the laws on the books and require a simple check on every employee hired in this country we would convince them to leave voluntarily--a process known as "attrition through enforcement."

Those who need work the most are being hardest hit by the glut of illegal labor here with depressed wages and fewer available jobs. Many illegals are bringing in gang crime, 90+% of the illegal drugs including meth, deadly diseases such as TB, and they are murdering, killing, raping, and molesting thousands upon thousands of US CITIZENS when they shouldn't even be here!

Why is Senator Graham supporting these law breakers and seeking to give them amnesty under the guise of a "guest worker program?"

If politicians in Washington, D.C. don't do something REAL to enforce our borders and other current laws on the books, we'll just have to assume that they want MORE Americans to be murdered or maimed. At the very least, they just don't care.

9/11's thousands of deaths showed what can happen when foreigners are not stopped at the border or, if allowed in temporarily, are not tracked and apprehended when they've violated our laws.

We, as a country, have had our bloody warning concerning terrorism. It was a terrible lesson and one that our Federal politicians have apparently not taken to heart.

While they continue to rake in campaign contributions from loose-borders big business interests, they leave the citizens of this country defenseless. What price will they have to pay and what will be the currency of exchange when they pay it? Will it be measured in the numbers of lives of U.S. citizens? There is no doubt in my mind that it will.

I've been wary of our open borders and lax immigration policies since 1980 when I first became aware of it (being a young fellow of 18 years at the time). At that time, I was primarily concerned about our culture suffering from the huge influx of very poor people from an alien land. Anyone with any common sense could see that we were heading towards disaster and conflict.

Instead of anything being done about it, our politicians passed amnesty in the 1980s that REALLY opened up the floodgates to illegal aliens. This was OUR country being thrown away by our inattentive politicians in direct contradiction of our immigration and border security laws which were already too lax to begin with.

The small town of Troy, Alabama, where I attended college in the early '80s, witnessed the results of lax regulations concerning foreigners. What I have always referred to as one of the first instances of terrorism, if not THE first, in modern times occurred when a foreign national from the Mideast opened fire with a sub-machine gun at a car full of other men of Arabic descent (with whom he was traveling) at a gas station where yet another Middle Eastern fellow (an Arabian college student) was working.

This terrorist came from the environs of Beirut, Lebanon, the local newspaper reported. The article further revealed the bizarre detail that he kept spare magazines of ammunition hidden inside his prosthetic leg.

After spraying the car and the gas station with 9mm rounds, and badly wounding everyone there, he then proceeded to steal a vehicle and drove at a high rate of speed southbound in the northbound lane of a divided highway (Hwy. 231) which runs through Troy. The escape attempt ended when he collided head-on with a truck driven by local citizen who was killed as a result of the accident. The terrorist survived.

Now, I am not the type of fellow to be naturally suspicious of foreign nationals. In my college days I was a member of the "International Students Cultural Organization" and had friends and acquaintances from Turkey, Iran, Venezuela, Bolivia, Puerto Rico, Malaysia, Ireland, Bavaria, Syria, India, and other countries. I've studied (not all that successfully) the German and French languages. I love history and the study of other cultures so it was an interesting time for me, to say the least.

Despite my positive experiences with foreign nationals, I was still not blind to what was coming. I told people that it was way too easy to come here and potentially do harm. I warned folks, when the subject came up, to EXPECT a big terrorist attack.

After the bombing of the Twin Towers in the early 1990s, I predicted to many that the coming attack would make that one look like nothing. It was way too easy for me, or anyone, with the evidence presented so far, to predict.

The first thing a friend of mine told me only moments after the 9/11 attacks started was, "You were right."

Did I feel any satisfaction at that statement? Certainly not. I've only continued to feel the same frustration I've felt for the past twenty-six years.

Here I am, a small town boy who happened to live in the first town suffering attacks and death at the hands of a modern Islamo-fascist terrorist--which fact gave me no clear advantage except perhaps to open my eyes to the mere possibility of attacks here.

Others in this country were shocked out of their complacency on 9/11. I only asked, "Where have you been?"

Now I will predict to you this: we have yet to see the end of terrorism. Despite all that we are doing to attempt to defeat it abroad, we're still going to be hit and hit very hard. A nuclear weapon or at the least a "dirty bomb" will not be beyond the limits of the capabilities of the terrorists out there. It's just a matter of time.

I realize that I'm simply stating the obvious. This should not be news to you.

What can we do about it? Some folks believe that, since we can't prevent them all, we shouldn't even try. Nonsense!

If we can't prevent all occurrences of such events, we should at least do all we can in the pursuit thereof so that such incidents are kept to an absolute minimum.

Otherwise, instead of perhaps just one bombing a decade, we'll be facing several incidents a year. Without security here at home, the death tolls could run into the tens of thousands over just a few years if our hits are proportional to what is suffered in Israel or other countries where such attacks are frequent.

Let us demand that our legislators at the Federal and state levels do all they can to secure our borders and to insure that every foreigner who isn't here legally is removed expeditiously. All they have to do is to enforce our existing laws!

If our politicians continue to not enforce our laws, they are, at the very least, implicitely guaranteeing that there will never be another attack on U.S. soil. Will they really want to deal with their constituents after another attack? Will their constituents ever want to vote for such treasonous slackers again?

Tell your U.S. Congressman and Senators and the President that if there is another attack, you'll hold them personally responsible for their gross negligence regarding our borders.

09/09/06: Tom Tancredo Tells It Like It Is!

U.S. Representative Tom Tancredo laid it on the line Saturday at a luncheon held in Columbia at the South Carolina State Museum. A filled to capacity room with very enthusiastic South Carolinians welcomed Mr. Tancredo with a standing ovation.

The event was sponsored by www.AmericansHaveHadEnoughCoalition.org with assistance from the Sons of Confederate Veterans, the League of the South, the South Carolina Minutemen, and the Palmetto Heritage Coalition. All of these are groups concerned with the preservation of our American way of life.

Mr. Tancredo was subject to several more standing ovations as he outlined the many evils and incredible expenses to taxpaying citizens in terms of crime and loss of our unique American and Southern cultures as illegal aliens continue to invade our country.

One standing ovation in particular was the result of a question from the audience concerning the question of whether or not Mr. Tancredo would run for president in these troubled times. As Mr. Tancredo himself pointed out, all it would take is the President, who is the head of the executive (enforcement) branch of the Federal government, to command the U.S. Dept. of Justice to enforce current immigration laws.

Such an order would cause the welcome deportation of tens of millions of illegal aliens among whom many are: destroying our health care systems, filling up our local, state, and Federal prison systems, causing the death, rape, molestation, and other injuries of hundreds of thousands of our citizens with deadly drugs like Meth and crack cocaine, gang and other violence, and deadly diseases such as TB and hepatitis.

Their mere presence and their proclivity towards having many children in addition to their "anchor babies" have flooded our schools and lowered the quality and drastically increased the cost of teaching our own young.

In addition, their presence is increasing the of cost of living and the price of durable goods and lowering wages for everyone with the competition for jobs that should, in what would otherwise be a very tight labor market, be bringing premium prices for American citizens no matter what their skill levels are.

Mr. Tancredo hit upon most of these points as well as outlining the gradual destruction of our national sovereignty through "agreements" such as NAFTA and CAFTA which, although binding like a treaty, are not treated as such and don't have to meet the higher percentage of votes as required for a treaty in the U.S. Senate.

Another very significant standing ovation came when it was stated that Senator Lindsey Graham needed to lose his job.

Many citizens feel as though they're alone in their Constitutionally founded opinions against the invasion of illegal aliens colonizing our country. They shouldn't.

Polls have shown that the vast majority of voting citizens realize the destructive effects of illegal aliens and want them deported and our southern border sealed off. It's our arrogant politicians who haven't realized it yet or, worse, don't care about the common citizen as long as they have their political contributions and other luxuries resulting from the corruption of their offices into treasonous bastions from which our country is being destroyed.
